Reetu Mourya – An award winning author of the book “Hum Ek He Naav Ke Maanjhee”
Reetu Mourya is a healer, a spiritual therapist, a numerologist, and the author of the book “Hum Ek He Naav Ke Maanjhee”.
She holds a Masters in History from Bareilly College in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, and works as a neurologist.
She started working for NGOs in 2019 and making contributions to human welfare at the same time. She does this by teaching people how to meditate, love themselves, raise their consciousness, and keep going forward because this is the only way to develop and have a fulfilling life.
She also practises numerology, heals people, prepares for civil services, and writes (stories and poems).
She awarded for her book– Author of the year, poet of the year, writer of the year, sahitya samman, Tagore award, women’s of substance award, selected to present country by United Nations (diplomat), best achiever award, Indian diva planet award, and India’s 100 under 40 strong woman award were all given to her for her book.
These honours have made her feel more confident. She does, however, take pleasure in creative pursuits like dancing, decorating, cooking, adventuring, and sadhana. She enjoys meeting new people, giving assistance to those in need, and listening to them.
When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
Reetu Mourya: When I read something well-written and thought, “I wish I could write like that,” I got my start. Later on, this developed into I wish I could write something equally impressive.
Writing was not something I decided to do overnight; I have been writing since I was in school whenever an idea came to me. Just for fun, though.
As I progressed through my further education, I began to dream that my ideas would be heard by others. I also wrote a book in which I collected my thoughts and published it.
When did you first consider yourself as a writer?
Reetu Mourya: I suddenly decided to pursue a career as a writer in 2021. I’m contemplating my options while sitting in a corner of the room to use my work to better the human race and my country. Suddenly, I had a concept, and I used poetry to express it. So, the adventure could start.
How many books have you written?
Reetu Mourya: This is my first book and I’m working on my second book, which will be presented to you all very soon.
What is your work schedule like when you’re writing?
Reetu Mourya: I can write whenever I want, but between three and five in the morning is when I’m most prolific. When I’m travelling or relaxing in the garden, I love to write.
How long does it take you to write a book?
Reetu Mourya: Since this is my first book, I didn’t have a schedule for when or how I would publish it. This is a compilation of writing that I’d say spans a period of 12 years because everything happened at once.
When did you write your first book?
Reetu Mourya: My first book was written in 2021.
How do books get published?
Reetu Mourya: Well two best way to publish, you can opt for self-publishing or traditional mode. It all depends on you.
But to go for tradition mode you need to be patient enough to get dejected as there are so many things or we can say lots of bridges to cross over but a surety of getting your book recognised.
You don’t need to invest in fact publisher pays you back. But on the other hand, self-publishing mode requires a lot of money a well amount of contacts to get your work acknowledged over all platforms. There are other modes of opting for publishing like E-books, audio books etc.
What is the most difficult part about writing for you?
Reetu Mourya: I can write on any subject very easily and I like to mostly something mysterious and different, but writing my thoughts down was the most difficult aspect that individuals can fully immerse themselves and embrace positivity.
What advice would you give new writers?
Reetu Mourya: Since it is similar to a workout regimen, consistency is essential. It keeps you disciplined and focused. Writing can actually be said to as a discipline because almost little can be done without it.
Write as though tomorrow never comes. Write, describe, and express your emotions as though they are your first priority.
