Rinaa Peter is a 38 yrs Delhi based entrepreneur. Founder of Arivaa Lifestyle digital magazine, and Co-Founder of Arivaa Group.

She is a lifestyle-media professional with 8 years of experience. Rinaa has had the opportunity to work with Livingetc India arming her with valuable media relationships and insights.

She is MBA in HR and certified yoga instructor. She has had worked with Architect, Furniture designer and publishing industry and organized international yoga retreats. Rinaa Peter is the youngest in four siblings, parents both were into private jobs. She is a cancer survivor twicely by the grace of god.

Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey

Rinaa Peter: I was with Livingetc India magazine, and got married to a Kolkata based guy in Feb 2019. I was juggling between Delhi-Kolkata in every 15days, which was very hectic for me because I was also in the process of recovering from cancer.

Eventually, I decided to quit my job. My husband was getting some freelance projects so we decided for a startup Arivaa Group, and from there he came up with an idea that why shouldn’t I use my experience of a lifestyle magazine and start my own digital one – Arivaa Lifestyle.

So from there we founded Arivaa Lifestyle and featured many national- international brands, designers, artists and many more.

Rinaa Peter: Our Company Arivaa Group provides Business Solutions from a wide range of products and services to and from different industries, sectors and segments of business including Startups in the field of Business Consultancy, Lifestyle, Sports, Events, E-commerce, Insurance, Arts and Media, to name a few.

It acts as an umbrella organisations primarily Startups to ensure they are adequately nurtured and empowered to enrich their competitive edge to emerge stronger and successful.

Key things to consider before starting a startup

Rinaa Peter: Lots of research and hardwork. As your business develops, you’ll continue to pick up new knowledge and abilities.

You’ll know how every tiny aspect of your operation works. You can’t get that kind of experience anywhere else.

What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?

Rinaa Peter: I don’t think so I have made any big one…..small ones are many.

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Rinaa Peter: The most important thing for people who want to start their entrepreneurial career is to first study consumer behavior and market.
