What is the inspiration behind Super4 and how the idea for the app came about?
Rohit Bansal: Cricket is a religion in India and, as an Indian, who has been exposed to technological advancements since an early age, fantasy gaming was an ultimate high.
I used to play county cricket during his college days in UK and grew fond of the sport. On my return to India, I matched my passion for cricket and his entrepreneurial skillset to launch Super4, “India Ka Apna Gaming App” and a leading gaming platform for Indian players to explore a vast array of immersive gaming experiences.
What were some of the biggest challenges you faced when developing Super4, and how did you overcome them?
Rohit Bansal: Like every entrepreneur, who is trying to create a category that did not exist before, the biggest worry is whether the product would find the right acceptance in the target audience.
It sometimes happens overnight and sometimes takes years, so that’s a challenge every entrepreneur has to grapple with.
However, my passion for Cricket and his Indian upbringing helped me understand the Indian consumer and position my brand with the right brand promise.
Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey
Rohit Bansal: The idea for Super4 originated with me. The history of Super4 begins many years ago, when I was pursuing my master’s degree in marketing from a university in London.
I played county division D cricket from Peugeot Coventry in London as a dedicated cricketer. After receiving my master’s degree from London, I sought to combine my love of cricket with my entrepreneurial talents, which led to the creation of Super4.
Super4 was introduced in 2022 with a wealth of experience spanning more than 15 years and a great deal of passion for sports, particularly cricket.
Super4 is upending the current fantasy sports market by utilising the limitless potential that the fantasy sports gaming industry in India offers.

Rohit Bansal: Super4 “India Ka Apna Gaming App” was founded by Mr. Rohit Bansal in March 2022. The Super4 app enables cricket enthusiasts and fans across India to create teams before a game, but unlike other promising apps, Super4 gives users India’s first-ever cricket scorecard, enabling users to create scoreboards in the first innings after a gradual self-study of the pitch and the game’s circumstances.
What is your biggest USP?
Rohit Bansal: The unique selling proposition (USP) of Super4 lies in its innovative scoreboard feature, which sets it apart from other apps.
By allowing users to create scoreboards and estimate scores for each over of the first innings, Super4 offers an engaging and interactive experience.
