Royal Enfield launched Himalayan with BS6 engine at Rs 1.86 lakh in India
Motorcycle manufacturer and Niche bike maker Royal Enfield on Monday introduced the BS6 engine version of the Himalayan it sees a host of updates apart from the BS6 compliant engine. Its starting price in the showroom is Rs 1.86 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
Chief Executive Officer of Royal Enfield, Vinod Dasari, said “Himalayan has performed well both in India and in the international market. The Himalayan is a special motorcycle designed for exciting travel.” Himalayan has been on a thrilling journey around the world since 2016.
Dasari said that the Royal Enfield will also introduce a new range of apparel including T-shirts, helmets, headgears, sweatshirts, and jerseys inspired by the motorcycle.
Vinod Dasari also said that the new Himalayan with BS6 standard is fully equipped with new design and features, switchable ABS, which gives the Royal Enfield confidence that this vehicle will set new dimensions in thrilling motorcycling. The motorcycle comes with a three-year warranty

Himalayan will be available in two new colours, which are Rock Red and Lake Blue in addition to the existing colours which are Granite Black, Gravel Grey, Sleet Grey, and Snow White. The Lake Blue colours and Rock Red are priced at ₹ 191,401. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
