Sagar Mondal: I’ve always been passionate about entrepreneurship, even from a young age. I launched my first venture at the age of 15, which, although it didn’t succeed, taught me valuable lessons in perseverance and adaptability.
After a few more entrepreneurial attempts, I noticed the growing demand for effective digital marketing solutions, particularly for businesses struggling to make their mark online.
This inspired me to start SquashCode in 2017—a growth marketing agency dedicated to helping businesses build and enhance their digital presence.
My journey has always been about finding solutions to challenges, and SquashCode was born out of that drive to help businesses succeed in the digital world.
What were some of the biggest challenges you faced in the early days of launching SquashCode?
Sagar Mondal: One of the biggest challenges in the early days was gaining trust and credibility. As a new agency, we had to convince clients that we could deliver results in a competitive market.
Building a strong team was also crucial. Attracting the right talent who shared the same vision and drive was not easy, but it was essential for growth.
Additionally, managing cash flow in the initial stages while ensuring high-quality service to our clients was a constant balancing act.
Despite these hurdles, persistence, learning from failures, and continuously adapting to market changes helped us overcome these obstacles.
Can you explain the business model of SquashCode and what sets it apart from competitors?
Sagar Mondal: SquashCode operates as a full-service growth marketing agency, offering tailored solutions across digital platforms.

Secondly, be clear about your vision but flexible in your approach. The market is constantly changing, and as an entrepreneur, your ability to adapt is key to long-term success.
Lastly, surround yourself with the right people—build a strong, supportive network and a team that believes in your vision.
Entrepreneurship is tough, but with the right mindset, resilience, and support system, you can overcome any challenge.
How do you see the industry evolving, and what role do you want SquashCode to play in that evolution?
Sagar Mondal: The digital marketing industry is rapidly evolving, with emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and automation reshaping how businesses connect with their audiences.
