Sana Dhanani, Woman Entrepreneur, Founder of The White Door, a premium spa and salon

With a meticulous eye for detail and compulsive obsession with perfection, Sana Dhanani, founder of The White Door, can be credited with crafting a one-of-its-kind entity in the nailcare and beauty space that places true luxury within the grasp of today’s modern woman.

With luxury and hygiene as her founding ideology, her creative vision has been brought to life with The White Door’s flagship atelier in Bandra, Mumbai that serves as a poetic interlude of indulgence and calm in the middle of the bustling chaos.

“Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, dinner table conversations included a side order of finance and business development,” reminisces Sana.

However, it was her passion for travelling that laid the foundation for achieving the finesse that sets The White Door apart in the realm of luxury spas.

Starting from the grass root level as an intern at a spa in Dubai, Sana worked her way up the ranks and opted for a Business Management course specialising in the spa segment at Les Roches International School, Switzerland.

After laying the groundwork for a luxury spa that specialises in hygiene back in 2016, The White Door finally opened its doors to the public this year.

Today, The White Door stands as a haven of serenity and tranquility in the midst of the daily chaos of the metropolitan city. “Mumbai being the dynamic city that it is, I saw that barring the five-star hotels, very few standalone properties laid emphasis on true luxury.

Having traveled across the world and witnessing the best that this industry has to offer, it was only natural that I wanted to bring back these experiences to the city that I was born in,” she elaborates. 

Under her creative guidance, The White Door now symbolises an unmatched experience in the world of nail and beauty, backed by a strong DNA of hygiene, luxury and quality.

The roster of services range from bespoke nailcare to luxurious facials and body treatments for women and men.

The Bandra outlet also holds the distinction of being India’s first ever lacquer library and also prides itself on its international collaborations with several noted names.
