Sandeep was born in the year 1980. His father was Roop Kishore Maheshwari, and his mother was Shakuntala Maheshwari. His family owned an aluminum business. He belongs to the capital city of India, New Delhi.

He is now a married man. His wife is Ruchi Maheshwari. Ruchi and Sandeep are childhood sweethearts, and after dating for five years, the couple was bound in matrimony.

He has a son and a daughter. Ruchi is also an internationally certified personal stylist and etiquette coach.

He is a dropout from Kirori Mal College, where he pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce. After he dropped out, Sandeep Maheshwari did a short course in photography for two weeks.

He began his career as a model at 19, but he left modeling due to exploitation in that field. He did not want other models to face the same issue as he did.

That’s why he opened a company named ‘Mash Audio Visuals Pvt Ltd.’ His motto was to create portfolios of models.

Thereafter, he established another company in 2002, but that venture did not go very well, and it faced an untimely closure in the next six months.

So finally, he opened his company ‘ImagesBazaar’ in 2006, which was the first stepping stone towards his successful journey.

The Journey Of Sandeep Maheshwari To Success

His business acumen was always prominent. When he was 13-years old, he started renting his scooter to a friend.

He charged Rs. 50/hour so that the guy could take his girlfriend for a ride. It was a gift from his father, but Sandeep knew full well how to utilize it to earn some extra cash.

He joined his family’s Aluminium business, but that also collapsed very soon. Amidst the ocean of financial difficulties, Sandeep Maheshwari joined a marketing agency.

When that didn’t work out, he also manufactured domestic products. That is when he decided to leave college and implement his learning in real-life situations.

Being a model himself, he knew how much harassment a fresh face has to experience in the modeling industry.

That’s why he opened the Mash Audio Visuals Pvt Ltd Company to aid aspiring models. He tried his luck in freelance photography also, but that idea did not work out either.

When his second venture in 2002 did not work out and shut down after six months, he thought of another brilliant idea.

He opened a consultancy agency in 2003 and wrote a marketing book. But when that idea also failed, he went back to photography. Then, he set a new world record by taking 10,000 snaps of 122 models in 10 hours 45 minutes.

After that, the ultimate business idea came to his mind. So, he set up ‘ImagesBazaar’ in 2006 and began working as a multitasker to keep the company up and running.

He was the photographer, telemarketer, and counselor of that company, so you can imagine how struggling his life was at that point.

But, ‘ImagesBazaar’ is currently the largest Indian Pictures company, with over a million photos and 7000+ clients in 45 countries.
