From one Saheli to thousands, we’ve proven that when women are trusted to lead, entire communities thrive,” said Ms Priyal Bharadwaj, addressing the gathering.

She further added, “Good intentions are not enough. They need good infrastructure. And infrastructure doesn’t just mean buildings or broadband. It means trust, process, and people who stay.”

The event featured a cultural performance by students of Sanskrit Bharti, inauguration of a curated SHG exhibition led by SHG women, screening of the impact film “Sangini Saheli Through the Years”, felicitation ceremony honouring outstanding SHG leaders, educators, and students, special recognition of Sangini Saheli’s internal youth teams among others.

Shri Baijayant Panda, Hon’ble Member of Parliament and National Vice President of the BJP, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and shared his heartfelt appreciation for Sangini Saheli’s impactful work on the ground.

In his address, he commended the initiative for embodying the true spirit of “Viksit Bharat”, a vision championed by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

He emphasized that the women associated with Sangini Saheli—be it in rural collectives, SHGs, or urban grassroots movements—are not just participants, but pivotal agents of India’s transformation. Their efforts, he remarked, stand as a testament to what inclusive development truly looks like when it begins at the grassroots.

He reaffirmed his commitment to continue supporting such meaningful and people-centric initiatives that strengthen the social fabric of the nation.
