In this exclusive interview, Sanjith Shetty, CEO and Founder of Miror, shares his insights on how his FemTech startup is transforming women’s health. With a focus on innovation and technology, Miror is empowering women by providing tailored solutions that address their unique health needs.
Shetty discusses the challenges, breakthroughs, and future vision behind his company’s mission to improve women’s well-being.
Sanjith, thank you for joining us today! To start, can you tell us a bit about your journey into the world of Femtech and what inspired you to create Miror?
Sanjith Shetty: Thank you for having me! My journey into Femtech began with a strong interest in the concept of using technology to scale up solutions and address gaps in women’s health.
While significant advancements had been made in areas like fertility and menstruation, there was a glaring silence around perimenopause and menopause, which affects half of the global population.
Women often endure up to 40+ symptoms for years during these transitions, yet there was a lack of comprehensive support.
The idea for Miror came from recognizing the urgent need for a platform that would provide 360-degree care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, helping them embraces these life stages with confidence.
Miror aims to provide 360-degree care for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. What are the core pillars of this approach, and how do they differentiate Miror from other health platforms?
Sanjith Shetty: Miror’s 360-degree care approach is built on several core pillars that set us apart from other health platforms:
- Community Support: Miror is home to India’s largest community for women navigating perimenopause and menopause. Our platform allows women to connect, share experiences, and offer emotional support, creating a strong sense of belonging and reducing the isolation often felt during this phase.
- Multilingual Website: To ensure accessibility, our website is available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil, with plans for further expansion. This multilingual approach helps us reach a wider audience, allowing women from diverse linguistic backgrounds to access vital resources and support in their native languages.
- Comprehensive App: Our app provides a holistic approach to menopause care, offering engaging features like educational content, quizzes, doctor consultations, and mental wellness games. This user-friendly platform empowers women to manage their health actively and access personalized care at their convenience.
- Supplement Range: Miror offers a specially formulated supplement range, including our flagship product, Miror Revive, and this month we have come up with Miror Bliss and are soon coming out with a range of other products which is designed to address common menopause symptoms. With scientifically-backed ingredients, our supplements support overall well-being, ensuring women have the tools they need to navigate this life stage with confidence.
These elements work together to provide a unique, comprehensive support system for women, setting Miror apart from other platforms that may focus on just one aspect of care.
How does Miror ensure that the information and resources it provides are evidence-based, sensitive, and tailored to the diverse needs of women from various backgrounds?
Sanjith Shetty: We place great emphasis on providing evidence-based information, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and using rigorous research to develop content and resources.
Additionally, Miror’s multilingual platform ensures that women from different regions, backgrounds, and linguistic preferences can access the same high-quality support, making the platform truly inclusive.
We also make sure our content is sensitive to the cultural and social nuances around menopause, recognizing that these experiences can differ widely across populations.
Miror is a Femtech platform, which means technology plays a crucial role in your services. Can you speak about the technological innovations or tools within Miror that make it stand out in terms of user experience and support for women?
Sanjith Shetty: Technology is at the heart of our platform. Our app and website offer a seamless user experience with features like:

This user-friendly platform empowers women to manage their health actively and access personalized care at their convenience.
- Multilingual Website: To ensure accessibility, our website is available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil, with plans for further expansion. Mental health and emotional well-being are often underrepresented in menopause care. How does Miror incorporate mental health support into its platform?
Sanjith Shetty: We understand the significant mental and emotional toll that menopause can take. Miror integrates mental wellness into its platform through a combination of engaging content, community support, and expert guidance.
Our app offers games designed to improve cognitive function and reduce stress. Additionally, we foster open conversations through our community platform, where women can share their experiences in a safe space.
We also regularly host webinars and educational events that focus on the emotional aspects of menopause, providing tips and coping strategies.
How do you see the future of Femtech evolving, especially in the context of menopause and women’s health? What role do you think Miror will play in that future?
Sanjith Shetty: Femtech is on the brink of becoming a mainstream part of healthcare, especially as more attention is focused on women’s health beyond reproductive years.
I believe the future will see a greater integration of technology in providing personalized, holistic care for women. Miror will continue to be at the forefront of this evolution by expanding our digital health solutions and community-based support.
We envision a world where women no longer suffer in silence during menopause and can access the care, information, and emotional support they need to thrive.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs looking to make a meaningful impact in women’s health and wellness?
Sanjith Shetty: My advice would be to focus on areas that are underrepresented and where you can make the most difference. The women’s health space, particularly around menopause, is still very much overlooked in many parts of the world.
There’s a tremendous opportunity to create solutions that address these gaps. Always ensure your approach is evidence-based, inclusive, and empathetic.
And most importantly, listen to your community—there’s no better guide than the people you aim to serve.
Sanjith Shetty’s vision for Miror is reshaping the FemTech landscape, offering women greater control over their health.
Through continued innovation, Miror is paving the way for a more inclusive and personalized healthcare future.
