What inspired you to build the Satvic Movement?

At the age of 13, I was diagnosed with multiple health issues and was prescribed countless medications. Despite years of treatment, my problems persisted, and I felt resigned to living a life of constant illness.

At 17, my father took me to a 4-day camp focused on natural healing. Though the lifestyle and diet were unfamiliar, I decided to give it a try. Within three months of adopting these changes, my thyroid issues, PCOD, and hair fall completely disappeared. For the first time, I felt in control of my health and my life.

Inspired by this transformation, I left school and dedicated myself to studying natural healing. I spent two years immersing myself in this science, traveling to health institutes across India and the U.S.

When I felt ready, I shared my first video on YouTube, ‘Super Easy Detox Salad Recipes,’ on August 24th, 2017. The channel grew rapidly as people began to see results from these teachings.

I soon started hosting workshops, initially in the basement of my aunt’s home in Delhi. The success of these workshops led to more events in Delhi and Mumbai, with hundreds of attendees.

Harshvardhan’s journey was similar. He struggled with chronic sinusitis from birth and developed psoriasis at the age of 10. His life was a constant cycle of doctor visits, steroids, inhalers, and antibiotics.

After years of little improvement, he discovered the power of using food as medicine. Though initially skeptical, he decided to give it a chance.

Within days, he could breathe freely without steroids, and within months, his dependency on antibiotics ended. This revelation led him to open a natural health center in Mumbai named Vedary, to help others heal through lifestyle changes.

We met during one of my workshops in Mumbai, held at Harshvardhan’s health center. Realizing that we were both driven by the same goal—to spread the healing knowledge that transformed our lives—we decided to join forces. Together, we united our efforts to lead the Satvic Movement.

Today, with the support of our dedicated team, we host online workshops for tens of thousands of people and have a community of over 10 million.

Can you describe the core philosophy behind the Satvic Movement and how it aims to impact people’s lives?

A seven-day program dedicated to reversing chronic lifestyle diseases. It focuses on addressing the root causes of illness rather than just masking symptoms. Participants learn the Satvic Healing Plan, which promotes healing from within by cleansing and nourishing the body.

In addition to our workshops, we currently have four books that also help us spread this knowledge further:

A collection of Satvic recipes inspired by traditional Indian cuisine, tailored for those who want to enjoy the richness of Indian flavors while adhering to a Satvic lifestyle.

In creating this book, we took everything we’ve learned from running Satvic Movement over the past five years and went even deeper. We’ve spoken to countless people, heard their struggles, and realized the practical challenges they face in bringing this lifestyle into their busy lives.

Whether it’s dealing with hectic work schedules, eating out at restaurants, or managing family responsibilities, this book addresses the real-life obstacles people face and provides practical solutions.
