SBI General Insurance Appoints Mr. Jitendra Attra as Chief Financial Officer

Mumbai, 15^th Sept 2023– SBI General Insurance today announced the appointment of Mr. Jitendra Attra as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this new role, Mr. Attra will be responsible for leading the Company’s finances, formulating and monitoring policies, setting up internal controls, accounting, taxation, budgeting & financial planning, MIS, and capital planning for the Company.

He is a seasoned BFSI professional with over two decades of rich experience and expertise to drive financial excellence within the organization. His career spans a remarkable journey across the insurance industry, marked by significant contributions to renowned companies.

His extensive professional background includes key roles at Zuno General Insurance, Munich Re, SBI Life Insurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Deloitte Haskins & Sells.  As a chartered accountant and a graduate from Mumbai University, he brings a blend of academic excellence and practical industry insights to his new position.

His tenure at SBI General Insurance is set to usher in a new era of financial stewardship and strategic financial planning. Mr. Attra’s track record in the insurance sector makes him an invaluable addition to the SBI General Insurance leadership team.
