Today’s domestic stock market turmoil follows a series of US macro reports that have done little to assuage concerns about the possibility of a significant rate hike by the US Federal Reserve next week.
Against this background, analysts say the domestic market is showing signs of fatigue. The biggest global concern right now is that the Fed could disable the economy, raise rates too quickly, and plunge the US economy into a sharp recession.
