Tell us a little about yourself

Seth Flora: As the owner of LEO Digital Marketing, my passion lies in equipping home service businesses with the tools they need to thrive and achieve remarkable success.

With a keen eye for innovation, I also dedicate part of my time as a part-time small business coach, guiding and inspiring entrepreneurs to discover new paths for their ventures to flourish and prosper.

Beyond the world of business, I find solace and joy behind the lens of my camera, capturing life’s best moments as a passionate photographer. It’s in these pursuits that I discover my truest expressions and the boundless potential of creativity.

Kindly brief us about your company, its specialization, and the services that it offers

Seth Flora: LEO Digital Marketing works with home service businesses to help them increase their online visibility, attract new customers, and secure more work through different marketing solutions. We offer our clients local SEO, PPC, Social Media, Branding, and Web Design.

What is your biggest USP

Seth Flora: We package creativity and data together along with our holistic approach to bring our clients more work and boost profits.

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur and start your own business?

Seth Flora: I’ve always wanted to run a business but never knew what to do. In 2018 I started doing social media and knew it was my calling. I began the process of starting my business and in 2019 launched my marketing agency.

What was your mission and vision at the outset?

Seth Flora: In the beginning, our mission was to help small be seen online. We offered only social media services and would work with anyone that wanted or needed our services.

How do you stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends, and how has innovation played a role in your success?

Seth Flora: Our entire team attends webinars, and seminars, and reads industry thought leaders to stay updated on new tech and trends.

We also experiment and test new tech to see if it makes sense for our business. This has played a huge role in our business success as it allows us to provide the best service for our clients.

What’s your company’s goals?

Seth Flora: Our goal is to become the go-to marketing agency for home service businesses

What was the inspiration behind turning an entrepreneur

Seth Flora: I’ve always enjoyed working with people on different projects and this business has given me the chance to do that.

What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?

Seth Flora: Running a business means that you’ll face many failures. One failure that I had to deal with was a failed marketing campaign that had no effect at all. Our team sat down and assessed the campaign and learned what we could do better in the future.

What were some of the biggest challenges you faced when starting your business, and how did you overcome them?

Seth Flora: The biggest challenge was in the begging. When I started I only had $300 and that just covered my basic needs.

I had no money for marketing other than organic social media. I had to push through and find a way to attract clients without spending any money.

So, I did sales. I cold-called, emailed, and would stop in to visit with local businesses to find new clients and it worked.

What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?

Seth Flora: One of the largest mistakes we saw was in the beginning. Originally we were working with all kinds of businesses and did not have a niche that we focused our efforts on.

We found that this made growth more challenging and decided to focus strictly on the home service business industry.

If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?

Seth Flora: The advice I would give to young and aspiring entrepreneurs is to never stop learning.
