Tell us a little about yourself
Shiv Gupta: Hello, my name is Shiv Gupta. I began my career in digital marketing at the age of 17. I’ve been a marketer for over 13 years and currently specialize in SEO.
In addition, I have extensive experience in digital marketing strategy, customer relations, strategic planning, execution, and promotions. I have the extensive industry knowledge and have won first place in numerous categories.
I began my professional career as a small business owner. During that time, my team members and I had tremendous success in terms of marketing the business and developing the field.

Shiv Gupta: Robe Noguria, my very first client, has my sincere gratitude. He gave me guidance on how to establish my business and supported me every step of the way.
He gives me the assurance I need to establish INCREMENTORS. Numerous people have supported me along the journey and continue to do so.
Everyone has the potential to enable you or teach you a valuable life lesson. I have a strong sense of optimism. I don’t consider someone a given.

Shiv Gupta: “The effort you put in today pays off in the future,” which effectively is similar to Matshona Dhliwayo’s quote, “Today’s tears water tomorrow’s gardens.” You may struggle today, but the work you put forward will yield dividends someday.
Steve Jobs said it best: “The only way to do great work is to love what you do”.
My favourite quote is “Life is 10 per cent what happens to you and ninety per cent how you respond to it.” By Lou Holtz. With a positive attitude, anything is possible!

What was the inspiration behind turning into an entrepreneur
Shiv Gupta:I focus on generating brand content that is conversational, engaging, and adds value to people’s lives.
I am a multicultural marketing communications leader with a passion for building connections between brands and clients through the combination of technology and information.
My First client, Robe Noguria encouraged me to raise my digital marketing agency to assist people at a larger level and be a guide to my team.
There when I addressed my mind to establish Incrementors. Incrementors are made up of two words Increment + Mentors, Increment means Increments to the business, and Mentors are the people guiding you to improve your business.
At Incrementors, my goal is to keep the connected customer experience growth across the company. And yes, I would say this was the Aha Moment for me when Incrementors happened.
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Shiv Gupta: As with any business, we have faced challenges and experienced failures along the way. However, we believe that failure is an opportunity to learn and grow, and we take a proactive approach to analyzing our missteps and using them to improve our future performance.
One example of a failure we experienced was a miscommunication with a client that resulted in a project not being completed to their satisfaction.
We learned from this experience the importance of clear and consistent communication with our clients, and we now have systems in place to ensure that everyone is on the same page throughout the duration of a project.
Another failure we encountered was a misalignment of expectations between our team and a client regarding the scope of work for a project.
We realized that it is crucial to have a thorough understanding of a client’s needs and expectations from the outset and to clearly communicate these to all team members.
We now have a process in place to ensure that everyone is aware of a client’s goals and objectives before starting any project.
These failures were tough lessons, but they helped us to better understand the importance of clear communication and effective project management.
We now have more robust processes in place to minimize the risk of similar mistakes happening again, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve our approach and deliver better results for our clients.

Underestimating the importance of thorough market research: Early on, we realized that we had underestimated the importance of thoroughly researching the market and our target audience before launching a marketing campaign.
This resulted in a misalignment of our efforts with the needs and preferences of our target audience, which reduced the effectiveness of our campaigns.
We learned that it’s crucial to conduct in-depth market research to understand the needs of our target audience and make informed decisions about our marketing strategies.
Overlooking the importance of data analysis: We initially focused on generating leads and sales without giving enough consideration to the data and metrics behind our marketing campaigns.
We soon realized that data analysis is key to understanding the effectiveness of our marketing strategies and making informed decisions about future campaigns.
