I come with over 15 years of experience in the sales, marketing, operations and distribution field and gained immense work knowledge across organization’s like JP Morgan, 3G, Aditya Birla Group, Tata’s and top real estate brands and also pursued MBA from SP JAIN college in Mumbai during my 36 years of my life.
After being blessed with a daughter, I realized the need to make education fun, engaging and entertaining for children without screens, which led to establishing the brand- Learning Through Fun with my wife, Pooja Bhatia.
I also believe in the culture of gifting education and balancing between screen learning and book learning
Pooja Bhatia:
Born and brought up in Mumbai, completed my MBA programme from Welingkars Institute of Management Development & Research and started working from the age of 21.
Being an enthusiastic Mompreneur, I realised the scarify of good content in the market and conceptualised and co-founded Learning Through Fun with my husband, Siddharth to add value to children and encourage early learning fun, engaging and entertaining without screens.
I am also currently a successful content manager at Amazon India and has previously worked with Sony Pictures and PWC with over 15 years of experience in my field.
How did you get your idea or concept for the business?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia:
Learning Through Fun came to us while we were purchasing books and kits for our 6 year old daughter, Sarah and we realised that there is a scarcity of good content in the market and we wanted to provide books that add actual value to children rather than loading them with mundane content.
Learning Through Fun was established with the idea of making learning a fun experience rather than just running through unlimited pages. Our books are designed on the following concepts:
- Limited pages for apt learning and retention
- Each page covers a different skill set
- One day one book concept
- Real life experiences & ideas
- No monotony
- Zero screen time
What service(s) or product(s) do you offer?

What made you choose this type of business?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
When it comes to children, parents want nothing but the best. We felt that our books can induce quality off screen learning and help children enhance their skill sets from an early age.
LTF content is way different than other books in the market and with over 10000 subscribers we know we are on the right track to become the choicest activity book brand in the country.
What was your mission at the outset?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
Our intent is to promote “freedom from screens”. We want to promote education as your best travel buddy, birthday return partner, post school and weekend partner, etc making learning fun and interesting at every touch point.
The activity books are designed in a manner that the child gets subjected to it and finishes a subject at a time and the learning process becomes immense.
How many employees in your organization?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
Currently we are on an asset light model where we are directly working with consultants for media, PR, design and content. This gives us an option to explore the best agencies and work with specialists.
What’s your company’s goals?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
Ans: Our end goal is to become the best off screen learning brand in the country by the end of 2021.
How do you build a successful customer base?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
LTF’s Customer base is built on the following lines:
- Developing quality content from time to time
- Engaging with customers on social media
- Giveaway contests
- Influencer marketing
- New product launches
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
As we are a young organization and we are evolving daily. Over the last one year of business we realised that one needs to be innovative in the way they market their products and introduce different options for buyers in different seasons. The same thing won’t sell all year round. Buyers need options to entice them.
Who has been your greatest inspiration?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
We have always read and looked upto brands that think differently. The biggest brands in the world are big not because they know how to do business but because they have introduced innovative products from time to time and addressed an important need for the buyer. LTF looks at doing such innovative things in the offline education learning space.
What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
Guess we should have started the business a while back (laughingly)
If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
“Don’t wait for miracles, do the smallest bit daily and with time you will realise how it helped you achieve the miracle you were looking for”
Does your company help the community or society?
Ans: Siddharth and Pooja Bhatia
Yes we do contribute personally to an orphanage. On a corporate front we are almost at the verge of tying up with an NGO for children’s health and hygiene.
The link will directly be active on our website and with every order there will be a contribution towards child welfare.
