Sonu Sood is an Indian producer, actor and humanitarian. He acted predominantly in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and Kannada films.
From being just a boy from the small town of Punjab named Moga. He has always had humble beginnings.

Sonu Sood started his acting career by participating in modelling events in college. He soon shifted to Mumbai (formerly called Bombay) to give his career flight. The first role in a Bollywood film ever was in Kallazghar.
His family owns a hotel by the name of “Sonu Sood” in Juhu, Mumbai and has recently become the God-sent angel for thousands of workers stranded in Mumbai during the nationwide lock down due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Besides being models and actors in India, Sonu Sood also has his own production house named “Shakti Sagar Productions”. Sonu Sood’s net worth si estimates at $17 million!

For his work in Telugu blockbuster Arundhati, he received the Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Award for Best Villain and the Film fare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu in 2009.
He granted the Apsara Award for Best Actor in Negative Role & the IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role for the Bollywood blockbuster film Dabangg in 2010.
He received the SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for Julayi in 2012.
He is very well known for his blockbuster films like Yuva in 2004, Athadu in 2005, Aashiq Banaya Aapne in 2005, Jodha Akbar in 2008, Dabangg in 2010, Shootout at Wadala in 2013, Happy New Year in 2014, Simba in 2018 etc.
He appeared for commercials for Airtel and Apollo Tyres. In July 2016, he established “Shakti Sagar Productions” the production house on the name of his father Shakti Sagar Sood.
He was born on 30th July 1973 in Moga, Punjab, India. He completed his Bachelor in Engineering from Yashwantrao Chavan College Engineering, Nagpur. In 1996, Sonu married Sonali. They have two sons.
He was introduced to Tamil language films with Kallazhagar and Nenjinile in 1999. In the Tamil, film Hands Up!
He appeared as an antagonist in 2000. He appeared as Majunu in 2001. From 2002, he began starring in Hindi films with Shaheed-E-Azam, as Bhagat Singh.
He earned recognition from Mani Ratnam’s film “Yuva” in 2004 Abhishek Bachchan’s brother. In addition, Sonu also earn more recognition in Aashiq Banaya Aapne in 2005.

In Tollywood with the release of Super, he received greater recognition for his work in 2005. In that film Nagarjuna was his co-star, he acted as high-tech thief.
After that, his next film was Athadu. He portrayed as antagonist in Ashok in 2006. He became popular in Telugu films.

He arranged buses, special trains and chartered flights for them. During July 2020, he arranged a chartered flight to bring home more than 1,500 Indian stranded from Kyrgyzstan to Varanasi.
He was hailed as real life hero during pandemic in India. On 25th July 2020, he saw a viral video of farmer’s daughters, ploughing a field like bulls, with a yoke on their shoulders on social media.
He immediately sent a tractor to them. We need more people like Sonu Sood in the world to make everyone’s lives a little better.
