Soumya Sarkar is a Finance professional with a wealth of experience in the field. With more than a decade of expertise, Soumya has successfully managed financial assets valued at over Rs 300 crore.

Professional experiences include valuable stints with renowned institutions such as HSBC and Standard Chartered, where a deepened understanding of behavioural finance and investment management took root alongside honed skills in financial management.

In the current role as the Founder of Wealth Redefine, Soumya oversees a team of dedicated professionals and caters to the financial needs of esteemed clients both in India and abroad. Wealth Redefine operates in a multifaceted capacity, offering services that include Personal Financial Advisory, Mutual Funds, Incidental Advice etc.

His Educational background complements the professional journey, with an MBA in Finance and Marketing, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta. Soumya Has successfully completed Management Development Program from NSE academy, Certified Financial Goal Planner Certification from American Academy of Financial Management, Retirement Readiness Certification from CIEL and Practicing Goal Planner Certification from PGP Academy.

During his tenure at Standard Chartered Bank, Soumya was responsible for portfolio management, forex management, and investment strategies. A crucial role was played in understanding the core banking needs of High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs), devising strategies to meet their financial objectives, and managing their risk profiles. Additionally, active contribution was made to some of the bank’s most significant deals in the realm of portfolio management.

At HSBC, an integral part was played in client acquisition strategies, focusing on understanding the requirements of Premier Banking clients. Responsibilities extended to investment banking and core financial products. Collaboration with senior bankers to formulate strategies for high-end portfolio management was also undertaken.
