The Power of WIN: Co-creating a blueprint for a female-forward future!

Stuti Jalan, Founder Women Inspiring Network (WIN)

An interview with Stuti Jalan, Founder of Women Inspiring Network (WIN)

In this enlightening interview, we explore the vision of Stuti Jalan, Founder of Women Inspiring Network (WIN), as she discusses the transformative power of collaboration in shaping a female-forward future.

Stuti’s passion for empowering women through community and shared resources highlights the importance of co-creating a supportive environment for future generations.

What inspired you to create the Women Inspiring Network (WIN), and what drives your mission?

Stuti Jalan: WIN was born during the pandemic—when women juggled endless responsibilities while managing their careers.

Seeing my friends and peers struggle firsthand, I knew there was a need for a platform that sparks innovation, fosters meaningful conversations, and drives transformative change. So, I launched WIN—our not-for-profit initiative with a heart to pay it forward!

Over the past five years, we’ve strengthened WIN’s presence globally—from Cannes to Climate Week New York, the Clinton Global Initiative, and Davos 2024.

This year, we took it to new heights at Davos 2025, where over 70 women leaders from 15 countries led 10+ panel discussions on AI, social impact, generational health, gender lens investing, sustainability, and more.

Yet, within our own WIN events, only a handful women from India took the stage. This stark reality troubled me. Where are India’s women leaders? This question is what drives the WIN mission.

The absence of India’s powerful female presence is such a troubling statistic, and this is the stark reality that I want to break.

On January 23, during our Invest India session, I made a bold pledge in front of Minister Jayant Chaudhary, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship that by Davos 2026, we must bring 500 Indian women leaders to the global stage. I am determined to make this happen!

How does WIN foster collaboration and support among women from diverse backgrounds?

Stuti Jalan:  At WIN, the community is at our core. Over the years, we have collaborated with organizations such as ABWCI, World Woman Foundation, CII and others to advance the women’s agenda and amplify diverse voices through digital storytelling, global events, mentoring walks, panel discussions, fireside chats, and roundtables to create a ripple effect of change.

It’s not just about networking but fostering real relationships; whether at our WIN Lounge in Davos or through intimate gatherings, we ensure women connect with mentors, peers, and allies who champion their success.

More than just a network, WIN is a movement. By bringing together leaders, change-makers, and entrepreneurs across sectors and geographies, we are building a global ecosystem where every voice matters!

What role does mentorship play in empowering women, and how does WIN support it?

Stuti Jalan: While we don’t offer direct mentorship programs, we actively connect women leaders with organizations. Our role is to be a bridge—facilitating introductions and enabling mentorship opportunities on request.

What challenges did you face when starting WIN, and how did you overcome them?

Stuti Jalan:  I’m an eternal optimist—I don’t believe in challenges, only opportunities. WIN started when a client requested for a webinar during the pandemic.

Out of the 70 leaders who attended it, 50 per cent were accomplished women change-makers, and from there, WIN took off. There has been no looking back ever since!

What trends do you see shaping women’s empowerment, and how is WIN adapting?

Stuti Jalan:  Women’s empowerment isn’t just about breaking barriers anymore—it is about rewriting the rules. Gender Lens Investing (GLI) is gaining momentum, with investors actively supporting women-led businesses.

At the same time, generational health is becoming a major focus, recognizing how women’s well-being impacts entire societies.

At WIN, we are leading these conversations globally. Our Davos discussions explored AI’s role in equitable futures, sustainable fashion, and impact-driven innovation. We are also working with global stakeholders to ensure that women are not just part of the change—they are leading it.

What exciting projects does WIN have in store for 2025?

Stuti Jalan:  This year is going to be big for WIN! We’re expanding our reach to London, New York, and Cannes, Davos, bringing high-impact conversations to new regions.

We’re also launching our new podcast—WIN Voices around International Women’s Day. Plus, we’ll continue our global presence at Cannes, the Clinton Global Initiative, and more.

What advice would you give to women stepping into leadership roles or starting their ventures?

Stuti Jalan:  Women often wait until they check every box before stepping up. But the truth is no one has all the answers in the beginning. So, my advice for women is to surround yourself with mentors, allies, and people who believe in your vision.

Embrace failure as part of the journey, not the end of it. Most importantly, pay it forward because when women lift each other, they can transform industries, economies, and societies. The world needs more women at the helm, so go out there and make it happen!

As our conversation wraps up, Stuti Jalan’s dedication to fostering female leadership and innovation leaves us inspired.

The blueprint she envisions through WIN serves as a powerful reminder of the collective strength women possess in driving meaningful change.
