Please tell us a little about your entrepreneurial journey
Deepali Bansal: I was already a mom blogger and had started her entrepreneurial journey with cosmopolitan shop ds.(insta page with offerings specifically for content creators and make up artists).
My skin had some issues for which I tried all skin care products, but none suited me and in fact, some even caused a few allergies. Then I got products from international brands that weren’t available in India at that time, and I could see visible changes in my skin, but these products were really expensive and tough to source, so that was the eureka moment.
Then, with the support of my husband, Mr. Rahul Bansal, I started the search to find the best manufacturers in India and get products made that match the international standards, are suitable for Indian skin types, and are at the same time affordable.

Deepali Bansal: Suroskie is an Indian beauty and wellness brand offering luxurious products at affordable prices in the Indian market. These products are cruelty-free, clean, and chemical-free. They are curated considering market demands and concerns.
What is your biggest USP
Deepali Bansal: Our USP is our ingredients and product range. Our ingredients are specially sourced from Germany. All our products have been getting huge love from the public. All credit goes to our product range, which is completely different from what is available and gives instant, visible results to the user.
What inspired you to become an entrepreneur and start your own business?
Deepali Bansal: My own journey towards healthier skin inspired me to develop products that really work and are accessible to everyone.
What was your mission and vision at the outset?
Puneet Bansal: Our mission is to provide beauty that is both effective and indulgent. We are dedicated to making products based on science and great formulations, simplifying the complexities of effective skincare. Formulate products for every skin type with high performance ingredients. We believe in – Simplicity, affordability, authenticity, quality, and transparency.
How do you stay up-to-date with the latest technology and industry trends, and how has innovation played a role in your success?
Deepali Bansal: As the founder of our skincare brand, I prioritize staying informed through ongoing research, industry publications, and participation in conferences. Embracing innovation is key to our success, enabling us to introduce advanced ingredients and formulations aligned with evolving consumer preferences.
What’s your company’s goals?
Deepali Bansal: Our goal is to provide high-quality products that enhance skin health and radiance. We prioritize customer satisfaction through effective formulations, transparency in ingredients, and sustainable practices. Our goals include continuous innovation, staying ahead of industry trends, and fostering a community that values and prioritizes skincare as an essential aspect of self-care.
What was the inspiration behind turning an entrepreneur
Deepali Bansal: My own journey towards healthier skin inspired me to develop products that really work and are accessible to everyone.
What have been some of your failures, and what have you learned from them?
Deepali Bansal: It’s been a challenging journey. We have taken each and every step with precaution and with all due diligence.
What were some of the biggest challenges you faced when starting your business, and how did you overcome them?
Deepali Bansal: Suroskie – started with importing color cosmetics from China, which required lots of legal work, which was a hassle. Then, when starting the skincare journey, finding the right manufacturer to trust with products was the most difficult task. We met more than 500 manufacturers all over India before launching our range.
If you had one piece of advice to someone just starting out, what would it be?
Deepali Bansal: Prioritize customer satisfaction and authenticity. Developing a true relationship with your customers is more important for brand building than merely offering things.
Your success tips for young and aspiring entrepreneurs
Deepali Bansal: Focus on authenticity and customer satisfaction. Building a brand is not just about products; it’s about creating a genuine connection with your customers. Listen to their needs, deliver quality, and be transparent. Building trust is the foundation for long-term success in the beauty industry.
