Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata defends woman who called him ‘Chhotu’ on Instagram

Ratan Tata, the head of Tata Sons, has once again won the hearts of people on social media with his personality.

82-year-old Tata Group Chairman Ratan Tata joined Instagram in October last year and on Tuesday, Ratan Tata’s Instagram became one million followers. After reaching one million followers, business tycoon Ratan Tata took to Instagram to share a picture and video of himself along with a ‘thank-you’ note to celebrate this milestone.

After this post of Ratan Tata, people started congratulating him on Instagram. As the post went viral, one Instagram user wrote,’ Congratulations Chhotu’ in the comment and after that people started trolling that girl. She was bombarded with criticism for calling the comment ‘shameful’ and ‘disrespectful’.

Commenting on the girl’s defense, Industrialist Chairman Ratan Tata himself commented, “We all have a child.” Please respect this young lady and also created a smiley face after this comment.

“I respect and appreciate the young lady who told me Chhotu, and I hope she does not refrain from posting again.” wrote Ratan Tata.
