Explain your journey as interior designer

Tushar Joshi: My love of art and architecture was the foundation of my career as an interior designer. In my university studies of interior design, I gained an understanding of the essentials of material selection, space planning, and design principles.

I gained great practical experience working with numerous renowned design firms after college, which helped me to refine my own unique approach. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects over the years, from residential properties to commercial buildings, and each one has assisted me grow and expand my expertise of the field.

I eventually established my own design studio, where I can wholeheartedly express my concepts and collaborate with clients to create environments that authentically reflect their requirements and personalities.

Basic one should follow in interior industry

Tushar Joshi: In the world of interior design space, there are several fundamental concepts that are crucial. Initial and foremost, an establishment must be beneficial and match the requirements of its consumers. In addition, equilibrium can only be accomplished through balance, be it in colour, texture, or placement of furniture.

Third, a design could possibly succeed or fail depending on the attention to detail; it’s usually small touches that make an area breathe life. Lastly, it’s vital that one maintains up with trends while simultaneously creating timeless designs that will never go out of style. In this constantly evolving sector, it’s also essential to remain adaptable and constantly acquiring knowledge.

3 things you want highlight in modern design style

Tushar Joshi: The essence of modern design lies in its emphasis on functionality, minimalism, and the integration of natural elements.Simplicity reigns supreme here, and even you prioritise sleek, streamlined furniture as important components of minimalism and clean lines.

The room’s warmth and tactile charm are enhanced by the abundance of natural materials like wood, stone, and metal. This brings us to our second point. A sense of spaciousness and airiness is produced by large windows, open floor designs, and strategically placed lighting.

Lastly, incorporating large, light-filled spaces helps to create an atmosphere of openness, promoting a serene and natural environment that enhances well-being and aesthetic appeal

Highlights of your best project and what’s was the inspiration behind that

Tushar Joshi: The Noor Mahal Palace Hotel project blends elements from the classic Mughal and Rajputana architectural styles, situated in Karnal, Haryana. The architecture showcases the lavish and elaborate detailing that defines these traditions, crafting a lavish escape for visitors.

The concept behind this project was to honor the city’s deep cultural roots and the inhabitants’ rich heritage, alongside a profound respect for the historic and artistic legacies of the Mughal and Rajputana empires.

These empires are celebrated for their majestic palaces, imposing forts, and detailed art, which still evoke wonder and respect today. Our aim was to embrace the essence of these grand traditions and weave them into a contemporary luxury hotel setting.

The hotel features elaborate arches, fine stone work, vivid hues, and lavish decorations. It also provides a selection of high-end rooms and suites, each uniquely decorated with bespoke furniture, luxurious textiles, and art pieces.

The goal was to maintain the palace’s distinctive allure while integrating modern conveniences and upscale amenities. The palace, with its complex design and detailed craftsmanship, stands as a symbol of the city’s deep history. Our objective was to pay homage to this legacy while offering a distinctive and opulent hospitality experience.

How modern style design becoming so popular in youth

Tushar Joshi: The younger generation favors simplicity and practicality, opting for minimalism and decluttering in their living spaces. The enthusiasm for technology among today’s young people is shown through the use of smart home technology in modern architecture.

Younger consumers, who are eager to embrace sustainable methods and goods while giving priority to energy-efficient appliances, are receptive to contemporary design’s emphasis on eco-friendly and sustainable materials.

Modern design offers a flexible background that is easily customisable. With accessories, artwork, and one-of-a-kind objects, people may add their personalities to the minimalist furnishings and neutral colour schemes. Youth find this flexibility significant because they frequently want to showcase their uniqueness in their living environments.
