Firstly, our 30 years of experience in the automobile sector have given us profound insights into the industry’s evolution and its impact on the environment. Over the decades, we have witnessed the tremendous growth and transformation within the automotive world.

However, it became increasingly clear that the traditional reliance on fossil fuels was not sustainable. The environmental challenges posed by conventional vehicles, including air pollution and carbon emissions, called for a significant shift towards more sustainable alternatives.

The global trend towards electrification in the automobile sector provided a timely and powerful impetus. Governments and regulatory bodies worldwide are setting ambitious targets for reducing carbon footprints and promoting clean energy.

In India, the government’s push towards electric mobility through policies and incentives has created an encouraging environment for innovation and investment in this space. We recognized that this was the opportune moment to leverage our expertise and make a meaningful contribution to the electric vehicle (EV) revolution.

Our commitment to sustainability and innovation has always been at the core of Fujiyama Power Group. We are driven by a desire to create products that not only meet the needs of our customers but also contribute positively to the environment. 

Currently our company covers pan India, and has 8 offices across the country, having its registered office in Japan’s Okinawa. The company also exports to Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya and plans to establish offices there. 

The electric two-wheeler industry presented a perfect alignment with our values. By focusing on electric two-wheelers, we can offer an eco-friendly, efficient, and cost-effective alternative to traditional vehicles, particularly in urban and semi-urban areas where traffic congestion and pollution are pressing issues.

Our inspiration to enter the electric two-wheeler industry stems from a combination of our extensive automotive experience, a deep-seated commitment to sustainability, and a keen understanding of the evolving market trends.

Our scooters are designed to cater to the needs of urban commuters, providing a reliable and efficient mode of transportation that helps reduce both traffic congestion and pollution.

With improved battery life, faster charging times, and an expanding network of charging stations, the practicality and convenience of electric vehicles have increased significantly.

We at Fujiyama Power Group invest heavily in research and development to incorporate the latest battery technologies and ensure our scooters offer exceptional performance and reliability. The rise of digital connectivity and smart technologies is another influential factor.

One of the primary challenges we foresee is the development and expansion of the charging infrastructure. While there has been significant progress in this area, the existing network of charging stations still needs to grow substantially to support the increasing number of electric vehicles (EVs) on the road.

To address this, Fujiyama Power Group is actively exploring innovative solutions such as longer battery life & battery swapping facilities to provide greater convenience to our customers.

Battery technology remains another critical challenge. Although advancements have been made, issues related to battery life, charging time, and overall cost are still prevalent. At Fujiyama, we are investing heavily in R&D to enhance battery efficiency and longevity.

We are exploring new materials and technologies, such as solid-state batteries, which promise higher energy densities and faster charging capabilities. Apart from that, consumer perception and awareness are also significant hurdles.

Many potential customers still have reservations about switching to electric vehicles due to concerns about range, performance, and the availability of charging infrastructure. Fujiyama Power Group is dedicated to educating consumers about the benefits of electric mobility.

One of the fundamental ways we integrate sustainability is through eco-friendly manufacturing processes. With state-of-the-art production facilities, we minimize waste and reduce energy consumption.

We have also invested in advanced technologies that optimize the use of raw materials, ensuring that we produce minimal waste during manufacturing. We are also committed to using sustainable and recyclable materials in our products.

Our electric two-wheelers are built with components that are designed to have a minimal environmental impact. For instance, we use lightweight, durable materials that not only improve the efficiency and performance of our vehicles but also reduce the overall consumption of raw materials.

The design of our electric two-wheelers is centered around energy efficiency and performance. Our vehicles are equipped with advanced battery technology that provides longer range and faster charging times, reducing the overall energy consumption.

Can you discuss any upcoming projects or collaborations that Fujiyama Power Group is excited about in the realm of electric mobility?

Udit Agarwal: At Fujiyama Power Group, we are deeply committed to driving innovation and sustainability in the electric mobility space. As a pioneer in the electric two-wheeler industry, we are continuously exploring new avenues to enhance our offerings and contribute to a greener future. 

Fujiyama Group is a large organization with group revenue of over 1500 crores. In the first year of incorporation in 2022, the brand had generated 7 croresof revenue. Meanwhile, in Q3, the performance was excellent with 800% growth and we are continually growing. 

We are working on the development of our next-generation electric scooter series, which will incorporate advanced battery technology and smart connectivity features. Not only that but also our team is working on Motorcycle, Loader, 3 Wheelersand some other segments.

The ideation and framework are under process. These scooters will be designed to offer not only enhanced performance and extended range but also seamless integration with users’ digital lifestyles and convenience. 

With our aim we have started R&D to eliminate user’s range anxiety with a vehicle that sustains the environment and EV range of up to 600 km. By leveraging IoT technology, our new models will provide real-time data on battery health, maintenance alerts, and route optimization, ensuring a superior riding experience.

In line with our commitment to sustainability, we are also focusing on the lifecycle of our batteries to address the environmental concerns associated with battery disposal. 

Furthermore, recognizing the importance of research and development, we have established a dedicated R&D center focused on advancing electric vehicle technology. This center will explore new materials, battery technologies, and innovative designs to keep us at the cutting edge of the industry.

Our R&D efforts are aimed at making electric mobility more efficient, affordable, and sustainable for our customers.
