An early leader in conversational service automation (CSA), UniFore collaborated with global leaders, including the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), the Idiap Research Institute and the World Economic Forum (WEF) Global Innovators Community – an invitation-only group of the group of the world’s most promising start-ups and scale-ups that are at the forefront of technological and business model innovation.
Both Uniphore and Idiap will work together on new opportunities in development and long-term activities that provide understanding of spoken language, cutting-edge speech recognition algorithms, and multimodal integration of real-world signals for better detection of emotions and other pragmatic and semantic applications.
Ultimately, the application of these new capabilities will generate actionable insights to enhance customer experience (CX) and reduce support costs.
The multiple agreements entail the development of next-generation capabilities in machine learning, advanced AI, automation, and voice and video technologies to really transforming the transformation of contact centers and enterprises around the world.
Similarly, Uniphore believes that preparing the next generation of professionals and investing in their current workforce is an important step towards ensuring a ready, healthy and dynamic ecosystem for the future.
Uniphore employees will gain access to a variety of short-term certification programs and graduate level courses, while students at the institute will be supported with real-world case studies and collaborative research projects.
These opportunities will enable students to gain valuable experience working on transformational fields such as AI, automation, NLP, machine learning and conversational analytics.
Uniphore and IITM, particularly the Telecom Center of Excellence (TCOE) are collaborating to prepare upskill employees and better students for future careers.
As a member of the Global Economic Community of the World Economic Forum, Uniphore will help define the global agenda on core issues – Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, keeping in mind the future of technology governance.
The platform brings together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors with co-designed and tested policy frameworks that accelerate profits and reduce the risks of AI and ML.
