Learn how to make Macaroni Soup – Pasta Soup at home.
Winter is a very beautiful season. Actually it’s a good time to make ourselves healthier. So, for this wonderful season, I would like to bring some healthy and stomach filler soup for you.
Actually it’s a veg. Macaroni soup or you can call it pasta soup also. During winter we have so many fresh and colourfull vegetables in the market.
So, I tried to add more n more colourful fresh vegetables in this super delicious soup. As per my opinion, a full bowl or mug of this soup with some slices of garlic bread can make a single meal dinner.
It’s a great combination of soup with pasta. Otherwise, we can say it soupy pasta also. Enjoy cooking.
Preparation time – 15 to 20 minutes
Cooking time – 20 to 25 minutes
Serves 2 person
Ingredients to make Veg. Macaroni Soup/Pasta Soup:
For pasta/macaroni:
1 cup boiled pasta
(I took semolina elbow macaroni)
2 teaspoon oil
2 tablespoon finely chopped onion
2 tablespoon finely chopped green capsicum
2 tablespoon finely chopped yellow capsicum
2 tablespoon boiled sweet corn
1/4 teaspoon chilli flacks
1/4 teaspoon oregano
Salt to taste
1/4 teaspoon black pepper powder
You can add more vegetables of your choice.
For soup:
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon butter
(I took low-fat butter)
1/2 tablespoon garlic paste
1/2 tablespoon ginger paste
3 tomatoes
1 potato
1 carrot
1 onion
8 to 10 mint leaves
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon black pepper powder
1 tablespoon roasted cumin powder
1 tablespoon red chilli powder
1 teaspoon garam masala powder (opt.)
1 to 2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon fresh cream (opt.)
1 tablespoon cornflour
1 cube cheese (opt.)
Method to make Veg. Macaroni Soup/Pasta Soup:
For Pasta:
- Heat oil and add all vegetables to it. Saute and add salt and pepper powder to it.
- Now add boiled macaroni to it and mix well. It’s time to add chilli flacks and oregano to it.
- Mix well and keep aside.
For Soup:
- Remove skin from potato, onion and carrot. Chop all vegetables in the same size.
- In a pressure cooker heat oil and butter. Now add all vegetables to it and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add salt and some water to it.
- Pressure cook for 2 whistles.
- Let cool and then churn and strain properly.
- Again transfer the mixture to saucepan. Adjust consistency by adding water.
- Add all dry spices to it and let it boil for a minimum of 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl take cornflour and add2 tablespoon water to it. Mix well to make cornflour slurry.
- Add this slurry to the boiling soup and again boil for 2 minutes. Add some water if needed.
- At last, add fresh cream or if you wish you can also add single fat cream also.

How to assemble Veg. Macaroni Soup/Pasta Soup:
- In a serving bowl or mug place macaroni mixture. Now pour piping hot soup over it and stir.
- Sprinkle some chilli flacks and oregano. If you want you can also spread some grated cheese also.
- Hot, mouthwatering and filling Veg. Macaroni Soup/Pasta Soup is ready to serve.
