Vicky Kaushal is an Indian Bollywood actor. He is known for his work in Hindi film industry. He received a National Film Award & a Filmfare Award.

He is an engineer. In 2012, after completing his graduation with engineering degree, he assisted Anurag Kashyap.

He assisted Kashyap for crime drama Gangs of Wasswypur. Then he played minor roles in two of his production.

Vicky Kaushal did his first leading role in drama Massan in 2015. After that in 2018, he gained wider recognition in Raazi & Sanju as supporting actor.

Both of them were highest-crossing Hindi films of that year. He earned Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for that.

In 2019, his role of military officer in Uri: The Surgical Strike, established him as a leading actor. That movie won him the National Film Award for Best Actor.

Further in 2021, he earned acclaim for his pottrayal of Udham Sing in Shoojit Sircar’s biopic Sardar Udham. In 2021, Kaushal married to Katrina Kaif.

Vicky Kaushal was born on 16th May 1988. He was born in a suburban chawl in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. His father Sham Kaushal is a stuntman & subsequent filmfare award winning action director in Hindi films & her mother Veena Kaushal is a homemaker.

His younger brother Sunny Kaushal is also an actor. He is born in a Punjabi Hindu family.
