Vicky Kaushal is an Indian Bollywood actor. He is known for his work in Hindi film industry. He received a National Film Award & a Filmfare Award.
He is an engineer. In 2012, after completing his graduation with engineering degree, he assisted Anurag Kashyap.
He assisted Kashyap for crime drama Gangs of Wasswypur. Then he played minor roles in two of his production.
Vicky Kaushal did his first leading role in drama Massan in 2015. After that in 2018, he gained wider recognition in Raazi & Sanju as supporting actor.

His younger brother Sunny Kaushal is also an actor. He is born in a Punjabi Hindu family.

During an industrial visit in his graduation year, he realized that he was not interested in office job. Then he s=aspired to have a career in films.
After that realization, he started studding at Kishore Namit Kapoor’s academy. There he simultaneously participated in theatre with Manav Kaul’s Aranya group & Naseerudding Shah’s Motley Productions.
He started doing everything from backstage and announcements to stand-ins. For next two years, he went for various kinds of auditions but could not find proper opportunity.
