Vishal Pacheriwal: Parnika India was founded 40 years ago with a vision to redefine ethnic fashion by offering high-quality, stylish, and comfortable attire. What started as a small-scale manufacturing unit has now grown into a well-established brand catering to both domestic and international markets.

Over the decades, we have embraced innovation, expanded our product range, and built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship. From traditional designs to contemporary ethnic wear, we have continuously evolved to meet the ever-changing demands of our customers.

Today, our team consists of over 500 skilled artisans and professionals, we process over 10 lakh meters of fabric annually, and our turnover has crossed ₹110+ crores.

Our vision remains steadfast—to redefine fashion while maintaining affordability, enabling small-town resellers to premium showrooms to thrive.

What are the key challenges you have faced in the manufacturing and export sector, and how have you overcome them?

Vishal Pacheriwal: The biggest challenges we have faced include:

  • Managing Production Scale: As demand increased, we had to ensure that our production capacity grew without compromising quality. We achieved this by investing in hi-tech machinery and skilled workforce.
  • Global Market Competition: To stand out in the export market, we focused on unique designs, quality fabrics, and timely delivery.
  • Supply Chain Disruptions: Especially during the pandemic, logistics became a major issue. We built strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Fluctuating Raw Material Costs: We established long-term vendor partnerships to maintain stable pricing and avoid sudden cost spikes.
  • Frequent Fashion Trends: Ethnic fashion changes every day, requiring us to constantly innovate and update our collections.
  • Design Copying: A big challenge is design imitation, but we continue to be trendsetters by introducing new collections at high speed.
  • Traditional to Online Transition: Moving from offline wholesale to online platforms was a significant shift, but we adapted successfully by strengthening our digital presence.

Our e-commerce integration ensures a seamless online shopping experience, and we’ve introduced virtual consultations and video call selections to assist bulk buyers remotely.

What are your future plans for Parnika India in the next five years?

Vishal Pacheriwal: Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans for the next five years. We aim to expand into new international markets, enter the uniform segment and men’s wear category, and introduce fusion wear and sustainable collections.

Strengthening our online presence with an exclusive Parnika e-commerce platform, investing in smart manufacturing technologies, and scaling up our B2B segment are key priorities. Additionally, we remain committed to growing our artisan community to preserve and promote traditional craftsmanship.
