An exclusive interview with Yash Chandiramani, Founder & Chief Strategist at Admatazz, an independent Digital Marketing and Media Solutions company
In this insightful interview, we speak with Yash Chandiramani, Founder and Chief Strategist of Admatazz, an independent digital marketing and media solutions company.
Yash shares his journey in the industry, the innovative strategies that set Admatazz apart, and his vision for the future of digital marketing in an ever-evolving landscape.
Can you share the story behind the founding of Admatazz and what inspired you to start a digital agency?
Yash Chandiramani: I was always passionate about marketing and copywriting specifically, right from my early college days. In fact, during college, I founded a nightlife marketing company that became quite popular among Mumbai’s young crowd.
Advertising and marketing always fascinated me, but somehow, I ended up venturing into the restaurant business.
After spending four challenging years in F&B, I realized it wasn’t where my true passion lay. Around that time, the advertising industry was rapidly shifting toward digital, driven by new tech that younger minds naturally grasped better.
Recognizing this opportunity and eager to get back to my first love decided to start Admatazz, aiming to blend creativity with digital expertise to redefine how brands communicate online.
What are some of the key challenges you faced in the early stages of building Admatazz, and how did you overcome them?
Yash Chandiramani: Early on, our biggest challenge was convincing clients to trust a young agency for big ticket projects and retainers. We tackled it by delivering results first, even if it meant smaller projects initially.
Another big challenge was building a culture of continuous learning, we overcame that by investing heavily in training and embracing mistakes openly. Those early years taught us resilience and grit, which remain core to our culture today.
What trends are you currently seeing in the digital marketing landscape, and how is Admatazz adapting to these changes?
Yash Chandiramani: The rise of AI and automation is reshaping the digital landscape dramatically. At Admatazz, we’ve leaned into these technologies not as replacements, but as powerful tools to enhance workflow and insight.
We’re also seeing a slow but effective acceptance to evidence based brand-building fundamentals. Admatazz is adapting by aiming to become India’s most scientifically-driven creative agency, focusing heavily on creative, tech and media but with a scientific temper.
What role does creativity play in your campaigns, and how do you foster a creative environment within your team?
Yash Chandiramani: We look at creativity the same way architects look at it. It has to be what we are known for. But you will never see an architect who is not aware of basic physics or laws of gravity.
Similarly marketing and advertising are governed by certain scientific laws, we intend to create but within those guardrails. Backed by evidence.
It’s not just about flashy ideas, but about creating ideas that genuinely resonate and drive results. We foster creativity by encouraging curiosity every team member is pushed to question assumptions, experiment, and stay inspired through diverse sources like art, culture, and even stand-up comedy.
We believe great ideas come from unexpected intersections, so we deliberately cultivate a playful yet challenging atmosphere.
What are your future aspirations for Admatazz, and how do you envision the agency evolving in the coming years?
Yash Chandiramani: We’re building Admatazz into India’s first truly evidence-led marketing and advertising group. Our clients rely on us for genuine marketing problem solving along with execution. We are here not just for a piece of the advertising pie but also a chunk of marketing strategy consulting.
While we have in-depth expertise in new media, tech, UI/UX, SEO and social media. We start each project with defining the problem and prescribing a solution, not mere selling of deliverables.
We intend to build this with firm foundations in India and take it to the globe. Our aspiration is to not just execute campaigns, but actively shape how brands think about marketing strategy in India.
Over the next few years, you’ll see us investing deeply in research, AI-powered tools, and creating India’s strongest repository of marketing thinkers.
What advice would you give to businesses looking to enhance their digital presence in today’s competitive market?
Yash Chandiramani: Firstly, stop chasing short-term virality it’s addictive but rarely builds sustainable brands. Instead, focus on consistency, clarity, and genuinely understanding your customer.
Invest in evidence-based marketing strategies, think scientifically about media spend, and don’t underestimate the power of creativity backed by data. Above all, keep learning, iterating, and evolving because digital marketing never stands still.
As we conclude our conversation, Yash Chandiramani’s passion for digital marketing and commitment to excellence are evident.
His leadership at Admatazz not only drives impactful campaigns but also inspires a new wave of creativity in the industry, positioning the company as a key player in shaping the future of digital media solutions.
