Can you share a bit about your family’s legacy in the jewellery industry and how it influenced your journey?

Yash Jain: I come from a long line of jewellers. Both my paternal and maternal side of the family are generational jewellers. I have been working in the same field since I was 17 years old. Our family business mostly revolves around gold.

But I was never too keen on working in and with gold jewellery. I have always been more interested in diamonds. The first time I started learning about diamonds, I instantly knew it was my calling.

Entering an industry dominated by established players must have been challenging. What were some of the biggest hurdles you faced, and how did you overcome them?

Yash Jain: Absolutely, gaining trust was one of the biggest challenges, especially as a new brand in a heritage-driven industry.

To overcome this, I focused on transparency and authenticity. We only deal in IGI and GIA-certified diamonds, and we put strong refund and exchange policies in place to reassure our clients. Every piece we sell reflects integrity, quality, and our promise to deliver excellence.

How do you ensure that the quality of your diamonds and craftsmanship remains exceptional while keeping prices affordable?

Yash Jain: It all comes down to control and focus. We have an in-house team of expert assorters who handpick every diamond, ensuring exceptional quality.

We also manage design and manufacturing in-house, which allows us to reduce costs without compromising on craftsmanship. Our goal is to provide high-fashion, luxury-quality jewellery that remains accessible to a wider audience.

How do you envision the brand becoming a global leader in the diamond jewellery industry?

Yash Jain: The vision is clear: to combine world-class design, certified quality, and a customer-first approach to make House of Diamonds a globally recognized name. Our dual presence—physical and digital—allows us to scale efficiently.

We also continuously innovate with new collections and custom services, which helps us stay ahead in both domestic and international markets.

As a young entrepreneur in a traditional industry, what advice would you give to others looking to innovate within established markets?

Yash Jain: My advice would be to never lose sight of design and marketing — they’re powerful tools to stand out in a crowded, traditional space. At the same time, never compromise on quality. In industries built on legacy and trust, consistency and authenticity go a long way.

If your product speaks for itself and your brand tells a compelling story, you’ll find your space, no matter how established the market is.

Is there anything else you would like to share about your journey or the future of House of Diamonds?

Yash Jain: Every milestone—from our first exhibition to each client who walks away with a piece they love—has been deeply meaningful.
